The Dave Bennett Quartet WOWed the crowd. Dave Bennett is a rare musical talent. You won’t find many jazz clarinet players like Dave Bennett who name Alice Cooper, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Chris Issak among their influences. You won’t find many musicians like Dave who are equally conversant with the music of Benny Goodman (The King of Swing) and Roy Orbison (The Soul of Rock and Roll).
Dave is one of the most unique and energetic musicians I’ve ever met! Having played the clarinet many years myself, I can say I know a good tone when I hear one! In addition, Dave is quite the showman! It’s always the highlight of my summer when I see he & his band (who are great musicians & entertainers, too)at Rec Bowl in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
